Audi goes fixed-cost service route with Complete

Audi has followed other manufacturers down the three-year fixed-cost service route with the announcement of its Complete plan.

The package, which includes a five-year 90,000-mile warranty, will be available to add to all confirmed existing orders of new Audis.

Audi says that Complete will be available for a one-off fee or fixed monthly payments. It covers all servicing and maintenance work for the first three years of ownership, leaving only tax, insurance and fuel costs left to pay.

As of Complete the standard three-year/60,000-mile Audi warranty is extended to or 90,000 miles, while the car’s first MOT at three years is included.

An option including tyre replacement can be specified at extra cost.

Costs of the programme start from £27 – the example applying to an A1 over a three-year 30,000-mile service regime. The equivalent for an A4 family car starts from £32, or £47 with tyre replacement.

Audi says that the package can be tailored to an annual mileage of between 5,000 and 40,000 miles, up to a maximum of 120,000 miles over three years.

If the car is sold within the first three years the cover transfers to the new owner, unless they wish to cancel it. Audi adds that the manufacturer service regime will make the more attractive on the used market.
