Rodeo out D-Max in for Isuzu’s new pick-up
Isuzu has released a teaser picture of its all-new pick-up – the D-Max – that will hit the UK market in June.
Replacing the Rodeo, the D-Max brings a fresh name to the UK pick-up sector, but is in fact the badge that the Rodeo is sold under in other markets.
Isuzu says that the newcomer will boast aggressive exterior styling, reflecting its impressive load lugging and towing capabilities and off-road performance.
The brand also promises a spacious, refined interior for both driver and passengers.
Power will come from what we are told is a range of extensively redeveloped common-rail diesel engines, delivering improved emissions and fuel economy with more accessible power and torque.
Isuzu UK General Manager, William Brown believes that the car’s package will deliver in every key area for farming, construction and outdoor industries, because Isuzu asked its customers what they wanted.
He adds that the new pickup is “the result of an exhaustive development process that included extensive research amongst customers around the world.
“I’m confident that the new Isuzu D-Max will continue the record of impressive year-on-year sales growth that has seen the UK become the brand’s number one European market,” Brown adds.
