Nissan’s Pixo drops below emissions barrier
Nissan has announced a revamp for its Pixo city car that includes a 4g/km emissions cut, dropping it below the 100g/km tax break.
Along with the engine changes are new exterior colours and an improved interior.
The car’s three-cylinder engine has been retuned, and the aerodynamics tweaked, to produce the emissions cut to 99g/km, qualifying for free road tax and no congestion charge.
The interior changes include a change of colour to the door trims around the glovebox and centre console, now black rather than grey. An electronic auto-dimming rear view mirror is now fitted to all models.
Two new metallic colours, Glistening Grey and Midnight Purple, have been added to the existing six other exterior shades.
Pixo prices start from £7,250 for the entry-level Visia and rise to £8,250 for the range-topping n-tec five-door model.
