Last Longbridge Mini to be sold

The very last Mini to leave the former Rover factory at Longbridge, Birmingham, is to be put up for sale.

The Mini Clubman 1275GT lay in the tunnels under the Longbridge factory for 30 years until 2012 – seven years after the plant closed following the collapse of MG Rover.

Motoring journalists in Wales have presented their annual awards to two of General Motors’ best-known executives.

Nick Reilly, who retires as President of GM Europe in March, received the Tom Pryce Trophy, and Vauxhall Motors Chairman Bill Parfitt the Automotive Achievement Award, from the Welsh Motoring Writers (WMW).
